Study of the duties and roles of senior managers of the pharmaceutical industry in Iran: assessment of competence and competence

Abstract
Introduction: The way in which managers and staff interact in enhancing organizational performance is important; It been explained the performance yokel with three dimensions: efficiency, adaptability and human resources. Distinguishes the leadership characteristic of successful organizations from unsuccessful. "Leadership" has long attracted the attention of researchers and the general public. In most cases, behavioral scientists have tried to find out what characteristics, abilities, behaviors, sources of power, or the elements of the position of the leader's power The influence on followers and the realization of group goals can be determined. Purpose: In this research, the competency and competence of senior managers of Iranian pharmaceutical industry has been evaluated. middle managers of pharmaceutical industry were selected. Methods: For collecting data, a standard multifactor leadership questionnaire (MLQ) was used in more than 200 location of the world. To calculate the validity of the questionnaire, 118 questionnaires were distributed by collecting data. SPSS software was used to calculate the reliability coefficient (Cronbach's alpha) for the questionnaire, which was equal to 0.92. For the dependent variable, that is, the organizational performance of the Query Function (Ganon), with Cronbach's alpha coefficient was 0.82. Results: The results of this research indicate that in the pharmaceutical industry based on Friedman test, which was conducted to rank the transformational leadership components, individual considerations with an average rating of 2.21 had the highest rank and ideal influence with a mean of 2.06 and mental retardation with an average of 1.97 and inspirational inspiration The average rank is 1.85 in the following rows. Conclusion: After entering the collected data and analyzing them, the researcher concluded that the leadership style in the pharmaceutical industry was based on a transformational leadership pattern and this relationship with the 95% confidence coefficient was significant.
