The Evaluation of serum levels of vitamin D and Ectopic Pregnancy
Abstract
Given that ectopic pregnancy is one of the problems threatening women of childbearing age and death and damage caused by the effects of emotional and psychological and economical complications on society and health care system imposes, we decided that a study in the city of Tabriz to do with the subject.
Methods: In this study, 75 women with ectopic pregnancy and 75 women with pregnancy intrauterine referred Hospital in Alzahra and Taleghani University of tabriz Medical Sciences. The collected data are analyzed using chi-square tests were analyzed and significance level of P < 0.05 was considered.
Results: 60% of all subjects, including ectopic and intrauterine pregnancy, serum 25 OH vitamin D levels less than 20 ng / ml and 74/4% of ectopic pregnancy serum 25 OH vitamin D levels less than 20 ng / ml, 13/3% between 20-30 ng / ml and 12% higher than 30 ng / ml, respectively. While 46/7% of intrauterine pregnancies 25 OH vitamin D levels less than 20 ng / ml and 29.3% 25 OH vitamin D levels between 20-30 ng / ml and 66/7% above 30 ng / ml, respectively.
