Abstract
Introduction & Objective: Evaluation is one of the most important foundations for the continuous improvement of educational quality. The main objective of this program is to improve educational programs and activities and provide valuable tools for guaranteeing the continuity of process development and play a decisive role in measuring the achievement of the objectives In general, student assessments are very useful to decision makers for decision-makers, as well as the importance of feedback from professors about the effectiveness of teaching and educational activities. The purpose of this research project was to examine the students' viewpoints on the factors affecting the reduction of student participation in the evaluation programs carried out by the Tabriz Dental School in 1397. Procedure : In this plan 108 people (based on Morgan's table and Cochran's formula taking 5% error Determined by the number of students studying in the clinical course and the degree of participation The Faculty of Dentistry of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences was studied cross sectional. The data gathering tool was a researcher-made questionnaire. The validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by 10 faculty members who were knowledgeable about the issues related to the evaluation programs of Tabriz Faculty of Dentistry and the Faculty of Statistics. The questionnaire consists of two parts: the first part is about demographic information, and the second part contains 11 questions related to the views and opinions of the students about the evaluation process. The answers to the second part of the question are as follows: "very low", "low", "medium", "high", "very much". The data obtained from the study will be reported using descriptive methods (abundance-percent). In order to compare the participation rate of individuals in the evaluation of qualitative variables, the Chi-square test will be used. To analyze the data, software version 17 will be used. The probability value less than 0.05 will be considered as a significant level and the results will be generalized to the target community as a whole. findings: The statistics analysis indicates that, based on the frequent response modules, "high" and "very high" answers to all questions are more than the other options. The evaluation of the response process in all questions does not show a significant relationship between the responses given by the students with the components of gender, age, and academic year. Conclusion: In this study, the "high" and "very large" options of the vast majority of students' answers to the questions posed were indications of the targeting and exact evaluation of the research project in identifying obstacles and factors that reduce the level of participation that is unavoidable to adopt. Measures to eliminate and improve these factors will provide a more favorable context for the general participation of students in college assessment plans.
