The Relationship between Ergonomic Postures of Body with Quality of Working Life in the Operating Room Personnel of Training Hospitals in Tabriz

Abstract
Abstract: Introduction and aim: Quality of working life is an important concept that is associated with many human and management factors, and incorrect status of body, while working, is one of the key managerial and human factors which finally cause the productivity reduction. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between ergonomic postures of body with quality of working life in the operating room personnel of. Method and materials: This cross-sectional-analytical study took place in training hospitals of Tabriz in the years 2015. Research society was operating room nurses who were selected by cluster sampling. The used instrument were Sirgy quality of work life questionnaire and standard observational ergonomics status checklist of REBA. Data were analyzed in SPSS16, by descriptive tests, Pearson, T-Test, ANOVA and regression. Results: A total of 147 samples were taken. Mean and standard deviation of Quality of working life were 44.65 ± 8.40 from the Range of 16 to 80, and for REBA were 7.77 ± 1.96 from the range 1 to 15. There was not seen any statistical relationship between the quality of working life and ergonomic postures of body. Conclusion: Ergonomic postures of body in most of personnel is inappropriate. Thus, to prevent the complications, educating ergonomic principles and modifying the working conditions is recommended. In addition, according to the findings, improving the factors which affects the quality of working life seems essential.
