The Relationship of Physical Activity with Sexual Function and Sexual Satisfaction in Women of Reproductive age who referring to Health Centers in Kermanshah

Abstract
Abstract: Introduction: Promoting regular physical activity is as an important health behavior that is leading to mental health, depressive symptoms, anxiety, life satisfaction and improve the quality of life. the aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between physical activity and performance relationship and sexual satisfaction in women of reproductive age who referred to health centers in Kermanshah in 1393 -94 is. Method: This cross -sectional study was conducted on 500 women in age 15 to 49 who were referred to health centers in Kermanshah in Iran 1393-94. influent cluster of research tools included two demographic to collect information which including basic information questionnaires and demographic International physical Activity (IPAQ), standard sexual function questionnaires (FSFI), sexual satisfaction questionnaire (SSI) and dysmenorrhea woman's questionnaire. statistical analysis were performed with SPSS software in 13 version and using descriptive and inferential statistics including Pearson, t -test, ANOVA and multivariate linear regression. the significance level was considered in P<0.05. Findings: The mean scores of physical activity was 2349/3+-2872/4. the average score of sexual function in 23/5+-6/7 women was out range of 2-36. most women 77/2% had sexual dysfunction. between physical activity and sub -domains of sexual function, there was no statistically significant relationship p>0.5. the mean score of sexual satisfaction was 95/9+-14/3. There was no statistically significant association between physical activity and sexual satisfaction p>0.05. Conclusion: Between physical activity and sexual performance for women of reproductive age, there was no significant relationship. Further research is required to determine the relationship between physical activity and sexual performance. Sexual dysfunction in women is a phenomenon prevalent and significant. Identifying factors related to sexual performance and satisfaction can be used in health planning and helps to strengthen families.
