The aim of this study wasevaluation of vitamin D level in children with malignancy and comparison with control group
Materials and Methods: Byinclusion and exclusion criteria, all children with qualified malignancy referred to the Oncology Clinic of the Koodakan Hospital, after describing the purpose of the study and its implementation to the parents of children, and obtaining consent Conscious letters from parents were entered in the study as a whole and available sampling.Patients baseline data were recorded including age and sex, malignancy type of patients. Serum levels of Ca, P, AlkP, and vitamin D were measured.
Results:Regarding the lower level of normal serum vitamin D levels in various malignancies and the significant relationship between serum vitamin D levels with mortality and response to treatment in patients with malignancy, it is recommended that the size Precise and modifying the level of vitamin D in all children with malignancy.
