Abstract
We report a 79-year-old female cadaver found to harbor an indirect inguinal hernia involving the urinary bladder. Further investigation revealed a patent canal of Nuck. The authors describe this rare finding in an adult and review the pertinent literature regarding such herniation. We believe this to be the first report of an indirect inguinal hernia involving the urinary bladder in a cadaver. This also seems to be the first description of such a hernia via a patent canal of Nuck in an adult. é Springer-Verlag 2007.
