Abstract
Hemangioma is the most common tumor of vertebral column. This lesion is often without any symptoms or signs and is an incidental finding on imaging. However, in rare cases, tumor expansion into spinal canal produces neurologic deficits due to spinal cord and nerve root compression. In this case, we report a 26-year-old man presenting with neurologic deficits after extraosseous extension of hemangioma from posterior elements of T4 into spinal canal. The radiologic findings and treatment modalities are discussed. Copyright آ© 2006 by Lippincott Williams & Wilkins.
