Abstract
Background Urinary tract infections (UTI) are a major cause patients to clinics and hospitals, and treat it with respect to the effects very quickly,is important.Increasing drug resistance in recent years, the treatment of such infections has struggled with.E.coli is a normal inhabitant of the intestinal microorganisms and Enterobacteriaceae.undoubtedly the most common bacterial infections of the urinary tract in both sexes and at all ages considered.Aim Due to the increasing resistance of bacterial to antibiotics and the geographic area in which the basis of the difference between the strains, and offered recommendations of empiric therapy, antibiotic resistance pattern of the bacteria identified in Tabriz seems imperative. Methods and materials In the present study wass restroprctive study, kidney urinary culture referring to central laboratory in the province investigated 2012-2013,type of information such as gender, kind of pollution, number and type of disks used to determine antibiogram microbial sensitivity was extracted from the patient fileFindings Of the total central laboratory 56564 referred to the province in the years 2012-2013,3205(5.7%) people had a positive urine culture, the most common microorganism responsible for urinary tract infection in the center is E.coli(65%) and the greatest sentivity in order to Gentamicin(69.4%),Nitroforantoin(69.1%),ciprofloxacin(64.4%) revealed. Conclusion The results of this study show that the incidence of UTI is higher in females than in males.Due to the high sensitivity to the microorganisms responsible for urinary tract infections with Gentamicin, Nitroforantoin and ciprofloxacin for empirical treatment of urinary tract infections is recommended.
