سطح سرمی MMP9 و MMP2 در بیماران با کانسر اسکواموس سل حفره دهان

Abstract

The aim of current study is to evaluate the serum levels of MMP-2 and MMP-9 in patients with oral SCC compared to normal subjects and their relation with tumor clinicopathological findings. In this case control study, 20 patients with oral SCC and 20healthy subjects were included and serum levels of MMP-2 and MMP-9 were compared between groups. Also, the correlation between these markers with clinicopathological findings including grade T and N tumor were evaluated. Patients with oral SCC has significantly higher serum levels of MMP-2 (p=0.01) and MMP-9 (p<0.001) compared to healthy subjects. With increase in grade T, MMP-2 was significantly increased (p=0.001), but the increase in MMP-9 was not significant (p=0.27). The level of MMP-2 (p=0.002) and MMP-9 (p=0.01) in cases with lymph node involvement and level of MMP-2 in subjects with smoking history (p=0.001) were significantly higher. There was significantly positive correlation between MMP-2 with grade T tumor (r=0.598, p=0.005), grade N tumor (r=0.737, p<0.001) and with smoking (r=0.674, p=0.001) and also between MMP-9 and grade N tumor (r=0.474, p=0.03)., هدف از مطالعه حاضر ارزیابی سطح سرمی MMP9 و MMP2 در بیماران با SCC حفره دهان در مقایسه با افراد نرمال و ارتباط آن ها با خصوصیات کلینیکوپاتولوژیک تومور می باشد. در این مطالعه مورد شاهدی، 20 فرد مبتلا به SCC حفره دهان و 20 فرد سالم انتخاب شدند و سطح سرمی MMP-2 و MMP-9 در هر دو گروه مورد مقایسه قرار گرفت. همچنین ارتباط آن ها با عوامل افراد مبتلا به SCC حفره دهان بطور بارزی سطح سرمی MMP-2 (01/0=p) و MMP-9 (001/0p<) بالاتری نسبت به افراد سالم داشتند. با افزایش grade T، بطور بارزی سطح MMP-2 افزایش می یافت (001/0=p)، ولی افزایش در سطح MMP-9 معنی دار نبود (27/0=p). سطح MMP-2 (002/0=p) و MMP-9 (01/0=p) در موارد با درگیری لنف نود و سطح MMP-2 در افراد سیگاری (001/0=p) بطور بارزی بالاتر بود. ارتباط مثبت بارزی بین سطح MMP-2 با grade T تومور (005/0=p و 598/0=r)، grade N تومور (001/0p< و 737/0=r) و مصرف سیگار (001/0=p و 674/0=r) و همچنین بین سطح MMP-9 با grade N تومور (03/0=p و 474/0=r) مشاهده گردید.
