بررسی آگاهی پزشکان از طب فیزیکی وتوانبخشی

Abstract

Physical medicine and rehabilitation is a branch of medicine which deals with prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disorders related to nerves, muscles and bones. Considering the importance of this branch of medicine and proper referring of the patients, there is a necessity for physicians to have high awareness about it. There are few investigations about the level of awareness of physicians from this branch of medicine. Thus there is a high necessity to do a comprehensive study among physicians and to assess their level of familiarity with physical medicine and rehabilitation. At first 300 general physicians and 300 specialist physicians are chosen in this study. Then questionnaires are randomly distributed among the physicians who have visited EDC center. Then the obtained information from those questionnaires are gathered and statistically analyzed. In the current study, 77 % of the physicians have good level, 20.17 % have moderate level, 2.33 % have excellent level and 0.5 % have low level of awareness. About 69 % of general physicians have good level of awareness meanwhile this is 85% for specialist physicians. In general 86.66 % of the specialist physicians have good or excellent level of awareness meanwhile this is 72 % for general physicians. Also about 86.40 % of the physicians who had studied physical medicine and rehabilitation during their academic educations have good or excellent level of awareness. For the general physicians who have not studied physical medicine and rehabilitation during their university education, 77.30 % is reported for their level of awareness. , هدف از این مطالعه، بررسی آگاهی پزشکان از طب فیزیکی وتوانبخشی می باشد.در ابتدا تعداد نمونه شامل 300 پزشک متخصص و 300 پزشک عمومی در نظر گرفته شد. پرسشنامه به صورت تصادفی بین پزشکانی که به مرکز EDC مراجعه کرده بودند توزیع شد..سپس اطلاعات بدست آمده از پرسشنامه ها جمع آوری و مورد آنالیز آماری قرار گرفت.در مطالعه حاضر 33/2% پزشکان سطح آگاهی عالی ،77%پزشکان سطح آگاهی خوب،ص17/20% پزشکان سطح آگاهی متوسط و50/0% پزشکان سطح آگاهی پایین دارند.حدود69% پزشکان عمومی سطح آگاهی خوب دارند و این در حالی است که حدود 85% متخصصین از سطح آگاهی خوبی برخوردارند. به طور کلی 66/86% متخصصین سطح آگاهی خوب یا عالی دارند،این در حالی است72% پزشکان عمومی سطح آگاهی خوب یا عالی دارند.همچنین حدود 40/86% پزشکانی که در دوران تحصیل واحدی از طب فیزیکی و توانبخشی را گذرانده اند سطح آگاهی عالی یا خوب دارند، این در حالی است که حدود 30/77% از پزشکانی که در دوران تحصیل خود واحدی از طب فیزیکی و توانبخشی را نگذرانده اند سطح آگاهی عالی یا خوب دارند.
