رابطه IL-6 ، TNF- منی و ورید اسپرماتیک و خون محیطی با پارامترهای منی در بیماران مبتلا به واریکوسل

Abstract

This study aims at assessing possible relationship of IL-6 and TNF-alpha with semen characteristics in patients with varicocele grade II-III. In this analytic-descriptive study, 30 male patients with grade II-III varicocele were recruited in Tabriz Teaching Sina Hospital during a 12-month period. Semen analysis was performed according to the World Health Organization guidelines. Levels of IL-6 and TNF-alpha were measured in seminal plasma, spermatic vain sample and peripheral serum specimen. Correlations between these parameters with sperm count, motility and morphology were assessed. Thirty males with a mean age of 25.603.35 years were enrolled on the study. There were 16 cases with grade II and 14 cases with grade III varicocele. The mean levels of IL-6 were 22.7311.02, 28.7311.98 and 38.2016.28 pg/ml in specimens from peripheral serum, spermatic vein and seminal plasma, respectively. The mean levels of TNF-alpha were 4.784.91, 5.665.95 and 6.4510.55 pg/ml in specimens from peripheral serum, spermatic vein and seminal plasma, respectively. The median seminal plasma IL-6 level was significantly higher in the cases with grade III varicocele. There were significant negative correlations between seminal plasma IL-6 with sperm count (r=-0.46, p=0.01) and motility (r=-0.38, p=0.04). There was not any significant correlation between the spermatic vain and peripheral serum IL-6 or seminal plasma, spermatic vain and peripheral serum TNF-alpha with the spermatozoal parameters. , هدف از مطالعه فعلی بررسی ارتباط احتمالی IL-6 و TNF- با ویژگی های مایع منی در بیماران مبتلا به واریکوسل درجه 2-3 می باشد. در این مطالعه توصیفی-تحلیلی، 30 بیمار مذکر مبتلا به واریکوسل درجه 2-3 طی مدت 12 ماه در مرکز آموزشی-درمانی سینا تبریز بررسی شدند. آنالیز مایع منی بر اساس دستورالعمل سازمان بهداشت جهانی صورت گرفت. سطوح IL-6 و TNF- مایع منی، خون ورید اسپرماتیک و خون محیطی تعیین شد. همبستگی بین این متغیرها و شمارش، موتیلیتی و مورفولوژی اسپرم بررسی شد.سی بیمار مذکر با سن متوسط 35/360/25 سال وارد مطالعه شدند. 16 بیمار دچار واریکوسل درجه 2 و 14 بیمار دچار واریکوسل درجه 3 بودند. متوسط سطح IL-6 در خون محیطی، خون ورید اسپرماتیک و منی بترتیب 02/1173/23، 98/1173/28 و 28/1620/38 پیکوگرم در میلی لیتر بود. متوسط سطح TNF- در خون محیطی، خون ورید اسپرماتیک و منی بترتیب 91/478/4، 95/566/5 و 55/1045/6 پیکوگرم در میلی لیتر بود. میانه IL-6 مایع منی در گروه مبتلا به واریکوسل درجه III بطور معنی داری بیشتر بود. همبستگی منفی و معنی داری بین سطح IL-6 مایع منی با تعداد (46/0-=r، 01/0=p) و موتیلیتی اسپرم (38/0-=r، 04/0=p) مایع منی وجود داشت. همبستگی معنی داری بین سطح IL-6 سرم و خون ورید اسپرماتیک و TNF- مایع منی، خون ورید اسپرماتیک و خون محیطی با پارامترهای اسپرماتوزوآ وجود نداشت.
