بررسی شیوع واریکوسل در دهندگان کلیه چپ، قبل و 3 ماه بعد از پیوند کلیه

Abstract

This study aims at evaluating this hypothesis in the left kidney male donors. In an interrupted time series, 30 male kidney donors on the left side were recruited during a 18-month period in Tabriz Imam Khomeini Hospital. Pre-operation measurement of the left testicular vein diameter was fulfilled by Duplex ultrasonography and the measurement was repeated 3 months after donation. The size of left testis was also determined in the same session. Varicocele defined as the left testicular diameter 2 mm. The collected data were compared pre and post-operatively. Thirty male kidney donors with a mean age of 24.972.43 (21-30) years were enrolled in this study. The mean diameter of the left testicular vein was 1.360.39 mm one week prior to operation. Three month post-surgery, the same reading was 2.030.50 mm (p<.001). The mean volume of the left testis was 21.772.37 ml and 21.732.16 ml, at pre and post-operative assessment points; respectively (p=.851). Based on the sonographic criterion, there were 2 (6.7%) cases with varicocele among the cases at the baseline. This rate increased to 15 (50%) cases 3 months after operation (p<.001, OR=14)., هدف از این مطالعه بررسی این فرضیه در اهداء کنندگان مذکر کلیه چپ می باشد. در یک مطالعه از نوع سری زمانی منقطع، 30 اهداء کننده مذکر کلیه چپ طی مدت 18 ماه در بیمارستان امام خمینی تبریز بررسی شدند. اندازه گیری قطر ورید بیضوی چپ توسط سونوگرافی داپلر پیش از عمل صورت گرفت و این اندازه گیری مجددا 3 ماه پس از اهداء تکرار شد. اندازه بیضه چپ نیز در همان جلسه تعیین گردید. واریکوسل بصورت قطر ورید بیضوی چپ 2 میلی متر درنظر گرفته شد. اطلاعات جمع آوری شده قبل و پس از عمل مقایسه شدند.30 اهداء کننده مذکر با سن متوسط 43/297/24 (30-21) سال وارد مطالعه شدند. متوسط قطر ورید بیضوی چپ یک هفته پیش از عمل جراحی 39/036/1 میلی متر بود. سه ماه پس از جراحی، این میزان 50/003/2 میلی متر بود (001/0>p). متوسط حجم بیضه چپ در زمان های پیش و پس از عمل جراحی بترتیب 37/277/21 و 16/273/21 میلی لیتر بود (851/0=p). بر اساس معیار سونوگرافیک، در آغاز مطالعه 2 (7/6%) نفر دچار واریکوسل بودند. این میزان 3 ماه پس از عمل به 15 (50%) مورد افزایش یافت (001/0>p، 14=OR).
