RESULTS: Of a total of 162 tumors of salivary glands origin , 23 cases were intraoral minor salivary glands tumors constituting 17/2 % of all salivary glands tumors . Twenty one (75%) cases were benign while seven (25%) were malignant . The most common diagnosed tumors were Pleomorphic Adenoma (67/9%) , followed by Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma (21/4%) . The average age of patients with benign and malignant tumors was 49/36 and 63/85, respectively . Male were the most affected (67/9%) and the male : female ratio was 2/1:1. CONCLUSION : Present study showed that pattern of frequency of minor salivary glands tumors included age , sex , location and diagnosis, is different to series studies from all over the world ,even though it was similar to the others partly. Such a difference points out the role of geographic and racial factors.
