Evalution of DMFT and dmft Index and affecting factors in 6, 9 and 12 year old children in Sardrood town in 2014

چکیده
An important index for evaluation of the oral health status is DMFT which is the mean value of the decayed, missing and filled teeth. The aim of the present study was to determine the oral health status of 6, 9 and 12 years-old in sardrood , Iran, Though assessment of DMFT and dmft in 2014. Materials and methods: In this descriptive study , 364 schoo children ,60 of female and 56 of male 6 years-old. 23 of female and 108 of male 9 years- old and 46 of female and 59 of male 12 years old, were selected randomly. Samples were examined using a denta mirror and explorer, on a chair under natural light a classroom setting:A questionnaire was used to collect DMFT and dmft data. Result: Mean DMFT was 0.55 and 2.3 in 6, 9, 12 years-old, respectively. Mean dmft was 6.4 and 4.2 in 6 and 9 years-old, respectively. Mean dmft of female and male was 6 and 5 respectively. Mean DMFT of female and male was 2 and 1.33 respectively. Conclusion: According to the world health organization classification health level in sufiyanis relatively medium
