Evaluation of DMFT, dmft Index and affecting factors of Ahar town children
Abstract
The goal of this research was finding the therapeutic needs of 6,9 and 12 years old children in ahar in order to decrease DMFT typical, and offer suggestions for solving meaw hile prevention of DMFT(the important reasons are mentined in hypothesis)of them. Elements and the way of the work: In this descriptive study the number of students needed for examination and execution. Was 350 members. In this way after fulfling adhesion form by parents of these students, all the students were axamined on the unit by instruments dental mirror and explorer under the natural light in the class then needed datas related to DMFT were registed in appendix form 1. also needed datas about predict variants (sex, education of parents, times of brushing, visit records by dentist) were registed in appendix form 2. Finally datas derived form the study were analysed by descriptive statisties and varians analysis. Results: The average of DMFT in 9 years old group is 2.8 and in 12 years old group it is 5.4. The kruskal- Wallis test shows a meaningful variation between these amounts. The amount of D for 9 years old group is 2.79 and for 12 years old group is 4.74.The amount of M for 9 years old group is 1 and for 12 years old group is 1.46 and it is similar in both groups. The amount of F for 9 years old group is 2 and for 12 years old group is 4, and it is similar in both groups. The average of dmft in 6 years old group is 8.11 and for 9 years old group it is 5.77.The amount of D for 6 years old group is 7.7 and for 9 years old group it is 4.8.The amount of M for 6 years old group is 2.03 and for 9 years old group it is 2.19,and it is similar in both groups.Total of DMFT in 6 years old group is 8.05,in 9 years old group is 8.21 and in 12years old group it is 2.59. Conclusion: The kruskal- Wallis test shows a meningfull variations in 6,9 ,12 years old groups' rates. It is similar in 6 and 9 years oldgroups and meaningfully less, in 12 years old group. The survey of beta coefficient shows that variant like education of father, incomes of the family, and the numbers of visiting by dentist have not enough power for prediction and remarking DMFT.
