The current study aims to determine DMFT/dmft index of 6, 9 and 12 years old kids. Method: 324 students were chosen randomly in order to be studied in this research. The study employed the questionnaire as the main instrument to collect the data. Results: the average of DMFT is 3.32 and 3.54 for 9 and 12 years old kids, respectively. There is statistical difference in 6 years old group and 9 as well as 12 years old group in terms of dmft average. In addition, dmft average in 6 years old group is higher than dmft average in 9 and 12 years old group (P-value<0.05). Also, there is no statistical difference between dmft and DMFT average between male and female groups (P-value>0.05). Conclusion: according to the division provided by world health organization, 9 and 12 years old kids of Jolfa fall into the category of medium DMFT, however, 9 and 12 years old kids of Tabriz fall into the category of high DMFT.
