Comparing an overview of dental education in Iran with some selected foreign dental faculties in 1391
Abstract
The main objective of this study is to survey dental education system in Iran in comparison with this system in selected dental schools in Turkey, Philippines, Hungary, Ukraine, Russia and Azerbaijan. Methods and Materials: Using a structured review of existing documentation and site-related curriculum and Curricula in the education of general dentists and the transcripts of students graduating from these colleges, Further, as students who are studying at Tabriz Dental School, a researcher form was completed and analyzed. Results & Conclusions: Results from this study show that in all selected schools, the overall curriculum was course centered. Graduate courses in Stomatology system is presentig with practical lessons, so that before the degree, clinical work is not done that much by the students, although the theoretical and practical courses are separately in Odontology system with students activity, which will be provided under the supervision of teachers. Phisiopatology courses that has been presented in Stomatological dental issues, seems to fill the minds of the learners and reduce the clinical work. Thus we're trying to provide solutions for integration with graduate courses, graduate students in our country with the others that enterprise education can be more effective.
