Cardiovascular diseases are one of the most common disorders and the main cause of death and disability in most countries of the world. One of the cardiovascular diseases are heart tumors. Performing heart surgeries for heart tumors are uncommon, but their timely diagnosis and treatment is of particular importance in reducing their mortality and complications. In this study, the clinical manifestations and hospital and long-term course of these patients were examined. Methods: This study is retrospective and analytical, and all patients with a definite diagnosis of heart tumor were included in the study. Sampling is a census type and the study checklist includes demographic criteria (age, sex), risk factors, electrocardiogram findings and laboratory tests, clinical symptoms and preoperative characteristics of patients, diagnostic methods, surgical method, tumor type and location, complications and Postoperative problems were completed. Finally, in-hospital and long-term mortality as well as in-hospital and long-term complications were investigated based on the information in the file and recorded in the study checklist. The results of the study were statistically analyzed using SPSS version 25 software. The association of hospital and long-term mortality with demographic, laboratory and clinical indicators was done by chi-square test. Results: The results of the present study showed that hospital mortality occurred in 16.8% and long-term mortality in 17.9% of patients. Two thirds of the patients were women and the rest were men, with an average age of about 50 years. Hospital mortality had a significant relationship with chronic renal failure, history of cancer, heart failure and surgery it means surgery reduces long term mortalities, and long-term mortality showed a significant relationship with mitral insufficiency and aortic insufficiency.en_US
