Introduction: In recent years, the electrospinning method has received attention due to its use in the production of imitation nanocomposite scaffolds for tissue regeneration. Hydroxyapatite and gelatin are suitable materials for the production of bone scaffolds. On the other hand, curcumin has also shown positive effects in the process of proliferation and stimulation of bone formation of stem cells. Therefore, this study was conducted with the aim of evaluating toxicity (cell viability and proliferative effect) as well as stimulation of early bone differentiation of gelatin-hydroxyapatite nanofibrous scaffold containing curcumin on dental pulp stem cells. Materials and methods: In this study, the effect of gelatin-hydroxyapatite fibrous nanocomposite containing curcumin on proliferation and ossification differentiation of dental pulp stem cells was investigated by alkaline phosphatase activity evaluation method. Results: The results showed that gelatin-hydroxyapatite nanofiber scaffold containing curcumin significantly increased the proliferation and activity of alkaline phosphatase in dental pulp stem cells (P<0.05). The proliferation effect was not significant in the first 2 days, but the scaffold increased cell proliferation by more than 40% in the fourth and sixth days. After 14 days, the group treated with scaffold increased the activity of alkaline phosphatase by 60% compared to the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Gelatin-hydroxyapatite nanocomposite containing curcumin can be used as a potential candidate in tissue engineering and bone and tooth regenerationen_US
