dc.description.abstractAbstract Comparison of the Effect of Education through Social Media and Booklet on Nurses' Knowledge and Attitude in Children's Pain Management Introduction: The lack of effective pain management in children by nurses is due to the low knowledge and attitude of nurses in pain management, which requires training in this field, so the purpose of this study is Comparison of the Effect of Education through Social Media and Booklet on Nurses' Knowledge and Attitude in Children's Pain Management. Materials and methods: In this randomized controlled clinical trial study, 75 nurses working in different departments of Mardaniazar Medical Training Center of Tabriz were randomly divided into three groups of social media, booklet and a control groups (no intervention). that there were25 peaple in each group. Data were collected by demographic information form (before the intervention) and nurses' knowledge and attitude questionnaire in pediatric pain management (PNKAS) before and three days after the end of the intervention. Data were analyzed using SPSS25 software and descriptive and analytical statistical tests (ANOVA tests, one-way analysis of variance) with a significance level of 0.05. Findings: The results of the pre-test showed that there was no statistically significant difference in the mean score of knowledge and attitude in the two intervention groups of social media and booklet and the control group (p<0.05); After the intervention in the social media group, an increase in the average scores of knowledge and attitude was observed in the time intervals compared to the booklet and the control group, but this increase was not statistically significant (P=0.8). Conclusion: Teaching nurses through social media was effective in improving their knowledge and attitude in managing children's pain. Therefore, this educational method can be used to improve the knowledge and attitude of nurses in managing children's pain in medical centers.en_US
