dc.description.abstractanalysis and confirmatory factor analysis involving 506 subjects. The reliability of the questionnaire was evaluated using Cronbach's alpha and the Intraclass Correlation Coefficient . Pearson's correlation was used to determine the relationship, and also single-variable and multi-variable linear regression were used to determine the relationship between the factors and acceptance of HSE rules and the demographic characteristics of the participants. Results All items demonstrated acceptable levels with an Impact score>1.5, CVR>0.69, and CVI>0.79. The mean values for the Impact score, CVI, CVR, and S-CVI-UA were 4.26, 0.963, 0.944, and 0.62, respectively. The questionnaire and its Introduction Acceptance of Health, Safety, and Environment rules is one of the most important factors in the HSE-related performance of employees in the workplace. This study was conducted to investigate the factors that affect the acceptance of HSE rules among the Iranian East Azerbaijan Gas Company employees. Materials and methods Face validity, assessed by 10 individuals from the target community, and content validity, evaluated by 10 HSE experts, were subjected to both quantitative and qualitative analyses. Quantitative measures for face validity included the calculation of impact scores, while content validity was appraised through Content Validity Ratio and Content Validity Index values. Construct validity was ascertained through exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis involving 506 subjects. The mean values for the Impact score, CVI, CVR, and S-CVI-UA were 4.26, dimensions exhibited robust reliability, as evidenced by Cronbach's alpha and ICC values exceeding 0.70. Additionally, Exploratory Factor Analysis successfully revealed the dimension structure of the questionnaire, and its goodness of fit was confirmed through Confirmatory Factor Analysis . The result of pearson's correlation and linear regression values for the all dimensions showed that there is a positive and significant correlation. Conclusion According to the results of this research, the management and head/direct managers' support for HSE rules, employee motivation toward HSE, the ease and usefulness of HSE rule implementation, attitude toward HSE rules have a positive and direct effect on the acceptance of HSE rules.en_US
