Ulcerative colitis is an inflammatory bowel disease that affects the colon and rectum. The gold standard in the diagnosis and follow-up of this disease is colonoscopy, which is an invasive and expensive method, so using less invasive methods such as ultrasound can be very helpful in these cases. The purpose of this study is to investigate US findings in ulcerative colitis patients and compare the results with the results of fecal calprotectin as a reference. Materials and Method: In this study, 39 patients who underwent colonoscopy at Imam Reza Hospital between April 2022 and April 2023 due to exacerbation of ulcerative colitis (without cirrhosis) or to diagnose ulcerative colitis were included in the study. Gray scale ultrasonography, Color Doppler and shear wave elastography were performed for each patient and the results of these examinations were compared with the results of fecal calprotectin. Results: In this study, 30 patients who underwent colonoscopy at Imam Reza Hospital betweenApril 2022 and April 2023 due to exacerbation of ulcerative colitis (without cirrhosis) or to diagnose ulcerative colitis were included in the study. Gray scale ultrasonography, Color Doppler and shear wave elastography were performed for each patient and the results of these examinations were compared with the results of fecal calprotectinen_US
