Conduct disorder and related antisocial behaviors are one of the most common psychological and behavioral problems in children and adolescents, which are affected by various factors. The present study was conducted with the aim of determining the relationship between the developmental family functioning and conduct disorder symptoms with the mediating role of cognitive regulation of emotion in adolescents. Method: This research was a descriptive-correlational study that was conducted on 362 students aged 15-18 in Tabriz city in the academic year of 2021-2022, who were selected using a multi-stage cluster sampling method. The selected students were examined using Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (CERQ), Youth Self Report Questionnaire (YSRQ) and Developmental Family Functioning Assessment Scale Questionnaire (DFFAQ) and interviews. Data analysis was done using covariance analysis in SPSS version 23 and Lisrel version 8.80. Results: The data analysis showed that the developmental family functioning had a significant relationship with negative (t=-4.10 and =-0.21) and positive strategies (t=6.38 and =0.32) of cognitive emotion regulation. Also, negative (t=6.53 and β=0.27) and positive strategies (t=-8.89 and β=-0.37) of cognitive emotion regulation have a significant relationship with conduct disorder symptoms.en_US
