dc.description.abstractEpistaxis in patients with covid-19 can be a clinical challenge considering the risk of infection and treatment options. The aim of the present study was to investigate the factors influencing the development of epistaxis in patients with covid-19. Material and methods: Patients hospitalized in Sina and Imam Reza hospitals ICU, with positive PCR for covid-19, were included in the study. The patient information form was filled by the researcher in terms of the drugs used and the patient's type of oxygenation, the procedures performed on the patient, and the measures taken to control epistaxis. The data was analyzed using Spss Ver 22 software. The results were evaluated in terms of the severity of pulmonary involvement, the duration of mechanical ventilation and the mortality rate of patients. Results: According to the results, there was a significant relationship between the presence of comorbidities, mortality rate, PaO2, Hb, PT and AST between the two control groups and the group of patients with epistaxis.en_US
