dc.description.abstractParkinson's disease (PD) is a neuromotor disorder characterized by four main motor symptoms: bradykinesis, rigidity, resting tremor, and postural instability. Parkinson's disease is a progressive disease with no cure and no current treatment has been approved to modify the disease. Motor and non-motor dysfunction in patients with Parkinson's disease leads to a significant decrease in the quality of life. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to investigate systemic disorders in patients referred to the emergency department with Parkinson's disease at the Imam Reza educational and treatment center in Tabriz. Method: This study is a cross-sectional and retrospective study that all patients with Parkinson’s disease referred to Imam Reza Emergency Department in Tabriz who were admitted last 4 years, enter the study. For all studied patients, information required for the research, including age, sex, time from the onset of disease, other underlying disease, depression, behavioral disorders, sleep disorders, CardioVascular system disorders, Gastrointestinal system disorders, stomachache, Urinary system disorders, the patient's recorded blood pressure while entering the emergency room, the patient's height and weight, the duration of the illness and smoking was recorded in a pre-designed questionnaire, and SPSS version 21 statistical software was used to analyze the data. Results: 110 patients who were referred to the emergency room with Parkinson's disease in the last 4 years were examined, and according to the Kolmogorov-Semirinov statistical method, they do not follow the normal distribution (pv<0.001), according to this, the average age of the patients is equal to (31-74.52) 70, CI95%) was 72.42 ± 11.14 years, the mean age of the patients was 73 years with a median of 69 to 79 years. In examining the gender distribution of patients, 72 patients (44.4%) were male and 38 patients (55.6%) were female. In the examination of patients' BMI, the median is 24 kg/m2 and the interquartile range is 21 to 26. In examining the duration of the disease, the median was 5 years and the median range was 2 to 8 years. Most patients had sleep disorders and balance disorders. 50 patients, equivalent to 45.5%, did not accept proper treatment and either did not take the drugs or did not take them regularly. The most common cardiovascular finding in the studied patients was blood pressure fluctuations. In examining the risk factors of the patients and the history of chronic and old diseases of the patients, hypertension was present in most of the patients.en_US
