Immunological factors seem to play an important role in SLE. Studies in both animal models of lupus and patients with SLE have identified a number of cytokine pathways that are important in the disease process. The purpose of this study was to examine inflammation cytokines of IL-1, IL-17, IL-6 and inhibitory cytokines of IL-10 in mRNA level and B- cell lymphocytes in people with Lupus. Materials and methods: this case control study was carried out on 12 patients of those with lupus who were higher than 18 years old and referred to Sina hospital clinic to be visited and examined during 2021-2022 and their lupus illness was definitely diagnosed by rheumatology and dermatologist. 5cc venous blood was caught on anticoagulant EDTA material, the intended skin samples were also kept in -20 •C to separate RNA. The control and patient groups were analyzed using paired t-test. Also, the rate of lymphocyte cells presence was analyzed using flowcytometry and the related indexes by FlowjoV7,6,1 software. Findings: The results of the present study showed that the amount of B cells in the blood samples of the patients was higher than that of the control group. Likewise, the results of our study showed that the levels of IL-17, IL-6 and IL-1 in the patient group were higher than in the control group, which indicates an increase in inflammation in these patients. Also, the amount of inhibitory cytokine IL-10 was decreased in these patients.en_US
