Tramadol is a synthetic narcotic drug with central effects that is used to treat moderate to severe pain. Recently, the abuse of tramadol, incorrect use and overdose of tramadol has increased in Iran, and one of the dangerous side effects of tramadol consumption is seizures due to the possibility of observing hypoglycemia or hypocalcemia in these patients, as well as the occurrence and recurrence of seizures in the use of tramadol and also with Paying attention to the fact that so far no study has been conducted on the relationship between changes in blood sugar and blood calcium and convulsions due to tramadol poisoning, therefore we decided to conduct a study with the aim of investigating the changes in serum glucose and calcium in patients with tramadol poisoning and its relationship with Repeat seizures during hospitalization. Methodology: In this non-interventional study, out of 293 patients, after applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria in 142 patients, the changes in blood sugar and blood calcium in people poisoned with tramadol and its relationship with the recurrence of seizures in patients admitted to the poisoning departments of the research training center were investigated. The treatment of Sina Tabriz was investigated during the years 1399-1400. Finally, the data obtained from the patients' files as well as the demographic information of the patients were collected in a questionnaire form and the findings were analyzed using SPSS version 22 statistical analysis software. Descriptive data were reported based on frequency and percentage, and quantitative data were reported based on mean, median and standard deviation. Results: The study was conducted on 142 patients, their average age was 26.22±7.01 years, and 111 of them were men and 31 were women. The average blood sugar level upon entering the emergency room was 111.30±28.32 and the average calcium level upon entering the emergency room was 9.10±0.58. Out of 142 patients, 55 had seizures after taking tramadol and before hospitalization and 8 had seizures during hospitalization. Between 1 cases had repeated seizures during hospitalization. There was a statistical relationship between the daily use of tramadol with blood sugar level (pvalue 0.031) and serum calcium level (pvalue 0.017)en_US
