dc.description.abstractDue to the limitations of fibrosis testing methods in cirrhotic patients such as liver biopsy and liver elastography, which are expensive and not available in all centers and require specialized specialists in this field, which limits its clinical use to some extent. Therefore, it is necessary to determine noninvasive, cheaper and more common methods to determine the severity of fibrosis and then predict the complications of cirrhosis; Therefore, we decided to evaluate the severity of liver fibrosis based on non-invasive factors such as measuring serum levels of fibrinogen and albumin, which are inexpensive and available in all centers, and its relationship with elastographic findings and fibrosis severity in patients with liver cirrhosis. Materials and Methods: For this study, patients with cirrhosis referred to the gastrointestinal ward of Imam Reza Hospital and the above clinic of gastrointestinal diseases who referred to gastrointestinal clinics from November 2020 to April 2021 were selected based on inclusion / exclusion criteria. Blood samples were taken from patients and the levels of bilirubin, albumin, fibrinogen and PT were measured. Also, all patients underwent elastography to evaluate the degree of liver stiffness and the severity of liver fibrosis in Imam Reza Hospital and their liver stiffness. Was determined. The severity of cirrhosis was determined based on Child pugh. Results: There was a significant positive relationship between bilirubin level (r=+0.64 - P=0.001) and child pough score (r=+0.68 - P=0.001) and elastographic findings; But the relationship between albumin (r=-0.53 - P=0.001) and fibrinogen (r=-0.32 - P=0.02) with elastographic score was negatively significant.en_US
