Introduction: Hydatid cyst is a chronic infection caused by the tapeworm Echinococcus Granulosus and is accompanied by a shift of the immune response towards the activation of Th2 cells. MS is a progressive autoimmune disease and a disease caused by the destruction of nerve cells in the CNS, and Th1 cells are known to be the main responsible in the pathogenesis of this disease. Considering that the effects of parasites change the direction of the body's immunological responses towards the activation of Th2 cells, this study was conducted to investigate the effect of cyst hydatid fluid on mice with EAE. Method: Methods: Medical hydatid cysts and sheep lungs were prepared and 10-week-old-female C57BL/6 mice were purchased from Pasteur Institute. The mice were divided into three groups including healthy mice, mice with EAE without intervention, intervention mice with hydatid cyst fluid. Spleen cells of mice were used to evaluate the expression of genes with the help of Real Time-PCR. Results: IL-4 serum level in intervention group mice was lower compared to control EAE mice and was close to healthy control mice (p<0.001). No significant difference was observed in terms of IFN-g serum level and expression levels of ROR-y and IL-17 genes among different groups of mice (p>0.05). The level of expression of IL-1β and TNF-a genes in intervention group mice was lower than that of EAE control mice and the expression level of T-bet, IFN-γ, GATA3, IL-4, FOXP3, TGF-b genes in intervention group mice compared to control mice. EAE control was higher (p<0.05). Also, only a group of mice that lost weight during the days consumed.en_US
