Color Doppler ultrasonography is becoming increasingly used as a non-invasive diagnostic method for vascular vascular flow. One of the applications of brain vascular ultrasound in neonates and embryos is the calculation of arterial systolic velocity (PSV), which is used to check disturbances Cognitive and anemia are used. Premature babies born between the ages of 30 and 37 weeks of pregnancy are at increased risk of developing anemia. The purpose of this study is to evaluate mid-arterial doppler (MCA) to predict anemia in preterm infants. Materials and Methods: This cross-sectional study was performed over a period of 6 months on a random sample of 65 preterm infants born in Alzahra and Taleghani Hospitals in Tabriz. Infants were divided into 3 groups of anemic, normal and polycythemic according to the amount of hemoglobin and placed under middle dorsal colon doppler in the temporal window of temporal region of Jahmeh. Results: Of the 65 neonates, 30% of the anemic group were examined. The mean psv was significantly different between the three groups of infants (anemic, normal, and polycithmatic) (p_value = 0.00). The results of Pearson correlation test showed a significant negative correlation between psv and hemoglobin variables (r = 0.7, p_value = 0.00)en_US
