Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is the most common neurobehavioral disorder in childhood, characterized by general characteristics of inattention, lack of concentration, and impulsivity, and progresses into old age. QEEG technology can be used as an aid to diagnose and respond to treatment for people with ADHD and other learning and attention problems. The aim of this study was to evaluate the quantitative indices of electrophysiological activity of the cerebral cortex (QEEG) in the diagnosis of hyperactivity disorder - attention deficit disorder in eleders. Materials and methods: The study is a descriptive-comparative study and the statistical population includes the elderly with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. 25 elderly people with ADHD and 25 normal elderly people were selected by age and gender matching based on DSM 5 criteria and SCID 5 CV interview and AMT and psychiatric diagnosis. The samples were evaluated using Conner`s ADHD Scale and QEEG hyperactivity questionnaire. Data were analyzed using SPSS 19 and P-Value <0.05. Results: In the present study, the elderly with ADHD have significant differences in ADHD scales, absolute power, relative power and power ratio indices compared to normal elderly, and in some frequency bands have higher scores and in some have lower scores.en_US
