Conclusion: Regarding the study of the quality of the diet of the majority of people, it was necessary to change and modify it. Deficiency of vitamin D intake and serum vitamin D level were common in most of the studied people. Considering the significant relationship between the increase in the HEI index and the serum level of vitamin D with the reduction of some anthropometric values and body composition, especially the index of abdominal obesity (abdominal circumference and hip circumference) and the increase in functional indices of muscle strength, muscle endurance and VO Max, The need to improve the diet and vitamin D status of the studied athletes through nutritional training and the use of vitamin D supplements is suggested.
