dc.description.abstractThe discordance between ESR and CRP in patients with systemic and infections and in inflammatory rheumatic diseases and patients with kidney failure is one of the problems of doctors at the bedside of these patients and important decisions, therefore, based on this study, it can be determined that in Different diseases, how much we can trust each of these paraclinical findings. purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the discrepancy between the red blood cell sedimentation rate (ESR) and C-reactive protein measurement in children's infectious diseases. method: In this study, which is a single-center cross-sectional study, children from one month to 15 years with clinical symptoms of fever and systemic inflammation were admitted to Tabriz Children's Hospital from 1/1/1395 to 12/30/1398 they started studying. The inclusion criteria were all patients with fever and clinical signs of systemic inflammation, and the exclusion criteria were children who had hematological diseases, underlying diseases with trauma and poisoning, and had previous heart disease or heart failure. Further, the discrepancy between the red blood cell sedimentation rate (ESR) and the measurement of C-reactive protein in children's infectious diseases was investigated, and the collected information was entered into spss16 software and statistical analysis was performed.en_US
