| dc.description.abstract | Due to the mortality rate of pregnant mothers in Iran and the lack of a similar study in the country, we decided to conduct a study entitled Comparison of maternal mortality predictor scores in the ICU so that we can finally get results. Determine the appropriate and efficient scoring model for critically ill pregnant mothers and by calculating it for all cases of ICU hospitalization, take timely and correct steps to identify patients in need of immediate attention and treatment, and as a result, see a decrease in maternal mortality.
Materials and Methods: In this cross-sectional descriptive study that will be performed with the participation of 100 pregnant women in Al-Zahra Hospital, all information APACHE 2, SAPS 2, MPM, SOFA, MSI, MOEWS, type of patient discharge, comorbidities for all patients were registered. APACHE 2, SAPS 2, MPM, SOFA, MSI, MOEWS were recorded for all patients immediately after admission to the ICU and the results of initial tests. Patients' clinical status was monitored and recorded at ICU at the time of admission, 24, 48 and 72 hours after admission. After calculating the scores of the scoring models, the scores were recorded in a separate table and based on the prognosis and the outcome of the patient's hospitalization, the data were statistically analyzed using related statistical tests.
Results: Comparing the predictive value of MOEWS, MSI, SOFA, MPM, SAPS and APACHE scores in predicting the poor condition of mothers admitted to the ICU, according to the level below the chart of rock curves of SAPS scoring system and then APACHE due to having the highest level They showed better performance under the curve than other hospitalized scoring systems. | en_US |
