dc.description.abstractSince in Iran, in line with other developed countries of the world, the incidence of preventable diseases with reduced vaccine has been followed up and the report of vaccine side effects has received more attention, on the other hand, due to central nervous system infection. It can be local or general, and aseptic meningitis and meningoencephalitis are two types of mumps (wild virus or vaccine); We decided to conduct the present study with the aim of estimating the incidence of aseptic meningitis following MMR vaccine injection and its relationship with the type of vaccine injected. Materials and Methods: The present study was performed on all patients whose files were available in Tabriz Children's Hospital between 2015-2020. All patients' information was extracted from their medical records and recorded in the existing questionnaire. Sampling in this study was numerical. All cases of aseptic meningitis that occurred between 13 months and 14 months of age and had a history of MMR vaccine injection in the previous month were extracted and recorded; Then, based on the patient's characteristics and with the cooperation of the health deputy and through the batch number (serial number) of the vaccine, information about the type of vaccine was extracted. In the mentioned questionnaire, demographic characteristics, vaccine complication, batch number of the vaccine, date of vaccination and other desired items were entered. Results: Results: The prevalence of aseptic meningitis following MMR vaccine in children 13 to 14 months was 1.2%; The most common symptoms were fever (n=111) and restlessness (n=109) in most children. The interval between vaccination and hospitalization in children receiving the Institute of India serum vaccine was significantly shorter than that of the Razi Institute vaccine; This means that the serum vaccine of the Indian Institute caused a complication in a shorter period of time; Also, fever, seizures and fever were significantly higher in children who received the serum vaccine of the Indian Institute than in children who received the vaccine made by Razi Institute.en_US
