dc.description.abstractBased on the recent changes in the macro policies of the Department of Neurology and general managers of hospitals and universities, an emergency monitoring of nurses is performed and this is in order to improve the treatment of patients in the golden hours, so the purpose of this The study examines the familiarity with FAST symptoms and golden time by the emergency nurse and the workflow of stroke patients Methods: All nurses working in the emergency department of Imam Reza (AS) Hospital are included in the study. Nurses who worked temporarily or for a short time in the emergency room were excluded from the study. Nurses were then asked three questions, the first of which was the signs and symptoms of stroke, the second of which was related to how blood pressure was managed in stroke patients, and the final of which was related to the golden time and the standard protocol designed by the hospital. Results: There was no significant difference between nurses participating in the workshop and nurses without attending the workshop, knowledge of stroke signs and symptoms. Comparison between nurses participating in the workshop with nurses without attending the workshop, whether there is sufficient knowledge on how to control blood pressure in hemorrhagic stroke or not, there was no significant difference. Comparison between nurses participating in the workshop with nurses without attending the workshop, knowledge of how to control blood pressure in strokes that do not have a thrombotic indication, there was no significant difference. Comparison between nurses participating in the workshop and nurses without attending the workshop, whether they know the indications of thrombolytic therapy in stroke or not, there was no significant difference. Comparison between nurses participating in the workshop with nurses without attending the workshop, knowledge of the golden time of thrombolytic treatment, there was no significant difference.en_US
