Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a structured procedure performed in patients with cardiopulmonary arrest and is an attempt to keep the circulatory and respiratory systems artificially active to the extent that there is enough oxygen to keep vital organs alive until the spontaneous physiological activity of the circulatory system returns to normal; The aim of this study was to analyze the performance of EMS medical staff in patients with non-traumatic outpatient cardiopulmonary arrest. Materials and methods: After the approval of the proposal, from the beginning of April 2016 to March 2017 for one year to collect data on patients who have undergone cardiopulmonary resuscitation due to cardiac arrest by pre-hospital emergency personnel, EMS, and after resuscitation operations to Imam Reza (AS) Hospital was transferred and all files in EMS were evaluated with the cooperation of EMS. Necessary data were collected using a prepared checklist and after extraction were entered into SPSS software and appropriate statistical analyzes were performed on them and in all statistical tests a significance level of 0.05 was considered. Was taken. Results: Of the 21 cases transferred to the emergency department by EMS with out-of-hospital cardiac arrest, 8 (38.1%) died before reaching the emergency department, 3 (14.3%) had spontaneous return (ROSC), and 10 cases (47.6%) were being delivered to the emergency staff. 71.4% of these patients had a history of previous illness and medication. Out of 3 patients with ROSC, 2 were admitted to ICU. Assessing the relationship between demographic and clinical characteristics of patients or the duration of EMS personnel on the scene. There was no significant relationship with the patient's condition at the time of admission to the emergency room and the patient's final condition.en_US
