According to numerous reports, sleep disorders are among the most common health issues that may be associated with diseases such as metabolic diseases and kidney disease. Studies have shown a link between sleep and proteinuria, which can be reversible due to the ability to reduce sleep deprivation in individuals. Therefore, in this study, we examined the relationship between sleep and proteinuria. Method: In this study, which was a retrospective study, the study population was used in the Azar Cohort study. For this purpose, patients' information including age, sex, blood pressure, weight and BMI and waist size as well as their sleep was extracted. Then the patients were divided into two groups of patients with proteinuria and patients without proteinuria. Then the characteristics of the patients in the two groups were compared. Results; In this study, the mean age of patients in the group of patients with proteinuria was 50.2 years and in the other group was 51.3 years, which was not significantly different (P = 0.293). However, patients' weight and BMI and waist circumference were significantly different in the two groups (P less than 0.05). Also, systolic and diastolic blood pressure was higher in patients with proteinuria.en_US
