Behcet's disease is a chronic inflammatory disease that is associated with symptoms such as recurrent oral pests, genital ulcers, skin ulcers, eye inflammation, joint involvement, arteries, central nervous system and gastrointestinal tract. The researchers concluded that curcumin was able to regulate inflammatory signal pathways in macrophages in patients with Behcet's disease. Due to the above and due to the limited studies, therefore, this study was designed to investigate the effects of oral nanocurcumin on disease activity, microRNA expression and factors affecting Th17 cell development and serum IL-17 levels in patients with Behcet design. Has been. Materials and Methods: In this study, the population of patients with Behcet's disease were studied. Patients were assessed based on admission criteria from the clinic and according to The International Criteria for Behcet’s Disease. Disease activity was also measured according to Iran Behcet’s Disease Dynamic Activity Measure criteria. Results: Curcumin treatment resulted in significant differences in the expression levels of RORγt, IL-17 and IL-23 as well as mRNA expression such as miRNA-155, miRNA-181 and miRNA-326 between the curcumin and control groups.en_US
