One way to diagnose ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease early is to use screening tests. To screen for inflammatory bowel disease, various paraclinical tests are used around the world; But these tests are not available in all parts of Iran and cause a lot of time and money. In addition, due to the fact that general practitioners are at the forefront of providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients and many of the existing paraclinical screening tests cannot be performed by general practitioners, there are screening questionnaires that can be performed by physicians. Public and usable throughout the country, in addition to playing an effective role in early diagnosis and reducing morbidity and mortality due to the disease, will provide significant savings in time and money in providing specialized services to patients. Methods: This study was an exploratory study of psychometric type. In order to evaluate the face validity, reliability, feasibility and implementation (Feasibility) of the screening questionnaire of inflammatory bowel diseases, primary care was conducted in Tabriz University of Medical Sciences during 1399 with the participation of 55 physicians (15 specialist physicians and 40 general practitioners). Because the content of the questionnaire is standard and acceptable content and its use is not affected by different cultures, dialects and educational contexts, the validity of the content of the questionnaire was not determined in this study and only after its translation and retranslation, the validity was determined. Formality, reliability, feasibility and ease of implementation (Feasibility). Questionnaire items were evaluated by specialist physicians and general practitioners to evaluate face validity and feasibility. To evaluate the reliability, ICC and Cronbach s Alpha tests were used using SPSS software. For this purpose, 40 general practitioners completed questionnaires for patients referred to medical centers ten days apart. Results: The existing questionnaire was translated into Persian and had eight questions; The minimum Impact Score obtained for the questionnaire questionswas 2.3, which was an acceptable score based on which none of the questions were omitted; The alpha value for the whole scale was 0.869 and all questions received a score higher than 0.7 (acceptable). The study of intragroup correlation coefficient showed a score of 0.957, which indicated the reproducibility of this questionnaire at different timesen_US
