Abstract: Introduction: Intracanal drug treatment processes may affect the ability of fillers to adhere to the dentin walls of the root. Pretreatment with calcium hydroxide and Nano calcium hydroxide due to the difference in tubular penetration depth and also the difference in physical and chemical properties, due to smaller particles and higher surface to volume ratio of calcium hydroxide nanoparticles, can affect the bond strength of Endoseal MTA to the dentin which we have examined this issue in this study. Materials and Methods: Fifty maxillary incisors were randomly divided into 2 groups of 20 experiments and one group of 10 controls according to the type of dressing used inside the canal(calcium hydroxide and nano-particle calcium hydroxide) after cutting the crown from the part close to CEJ and instrumenting the roots. Then, each experimental group was divided into two subgroups based on the type of in-channel drug removal (manual and ultrasonic). After calcium hydroxide removal, each group was obturated with Gutta percha and Endoseal MTA. All samples were sectioned into 2 mm discs to perform a push-out bond test. Results: The results of the study showed that there was no significant difference between the mean of the band strength variable based on the type of drug in the canal. Also, there was no significant difference between the mean of the bond strength variable based on the in-channel drug removal method. (P - value >05.0) In other words, the effect of the type of drug in the canal as well as the method of its removal on the average MTA Endoseal bond strength is the same in all groups. (P - value >05.0) Conclusion: The use of ultrasonic method for pretreatment removal is not significantly different in Endoseal MTA band strength compared to the manual method. Also, the effect of using the nanoparticle type of calcium hydroxide drug on the bond strength of MTA Endoseal is not different in comparison with the two common types of this drug, and according to the findings of our study, the nanoparticle type can be used in the pretreatment process.en_US
