Tracheal tube care is very important and sensitive in head and neck surgeries; Given that the airway in these surgeries is placed under the surgical cap and surgical field; Any intervention will require disrupting the surgical field. Reinforced / Armored tube is one of the tubes that due to having a spring in it, in most cases, it does not bend or lie on top of each other. North and south or spiral. Materials and Methods: 150 patients were randomly admitted to one of the two study groups in this clinical trial study. In the RAE group, north or south RAE endotracheal tube was used for patients depending on the type of surgery. In the spiral group, a spiral endotracheal tube was used. Incidents during the operation, such as increased airway pressure despite anesthesia and muscle relaxation, kinking of the tube and inability to properly ventilate, and the need to inspect the tube or replace the endotracheal tube were noted. Relevant statistical tests were used with P value less than 0.05. Results: The results of intubation complications in the two groups showed that there was a statistically significant difference in the number of times the tracheal tube was kinked, so that in the intervention group the number of kinked times was much lower in the control group. But there was no difference in the number of endotracheal tube replacements between the two groups (the number of replacements in both groups was zero).en_US
