dc.description.abstract | In the current study, we aimed to assess the correlation between serum levels of ATG5, Apo B-48, and oxidative stress markers in ischemic stroke patients.
Methods:
We provided 100 participants comprising 50 IS patients (22 female and 28 male) as the case group and 50 healthy individuals (23 female and 27 male) as the control group; then, executed a case-control study at Imam Reza Hospital (Tabriz, Iran) from March of 2019 to April of 2020. We quantified the serum levels of ATG5, Apo B-48, and oxidative stress markers in both groups. Moreover, we assessed the incremental diagnostic value of these factors using receiver operating characteristic (ROC) analysis in both groups.
Results:
Mean serum levels of ATG5, Apo B-48, and oxidative stress markers are significantly higher in the case group than the control group with a p-value of less than 0.0001 (p<0.0001). | en_US |
