dc.description.abstractThe purpose of the present study was to investigate the relationship between personality components and the interpretation of the "subjectivity test" based on internal conflicts in patients with major depression and normal subjects. Materials and methods: The study is a cross-sectional study and the statistical population includes patients with major depressive disorder at first visit and normal people. Sample size was estimated to be 80 according to correlational studies and were selected according to inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data were analyzed using SPSS 23 at 0.05 level. Results: There is a significant difference between normal and depressed individuals in terms of adolescence, avoidance injury, attachment reward, cooperation, and self-control. Needs and conflicts are significantly different based on levels of Sexual, Material, Emotional, Intellectual, but not significant at Spiritual level. There is a significant relationship between avoidance and emotional injury in people with major depression.
