The aim of this study was to compare the predictive power of dynamic hyperinflation in COPD patients and healthy individuals by examining small airway disease by IOS and spirometry. Methods: In a cross-sectional descriptive-analytic study performed in the Lung Department of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences on patients with COPD and healthy individuals, the ability to predict dynamic hyperinflation in COPD patients by examining the disease Small air was examined and compared by IOS and spirometry. Results: Out of 75 patients with COPD, 46 (61.3%) patients were males 29 (38.7%) patients were females with the mean age of 63.62±8.92 years. There was no significant difference after 6MWT than before 6MWT test, between spirometric parameters and only the mean PIF was significantly higher (P = 0.001). There were significant differences between patients' IOS parameters after the 6MWT test than before the 6MWT test.en_US
