dc.description.abstractNarcotic analgesics have most important role in relieving patients' pain after surgery, so it is very important to use them correctly and rationally so that they can cause the least side effects with the highest amount of pain reduction. Using Opioid Sparring methods is the final solution to achieve this goal. Goal The main outcome of this study is to rationalize the administration of opioids along with other analgesics in pain control that after gynecological surgery based on the APS2016 and ERAS2016 guidelines. Method This study is a DUE (Drug Utilization Evaluation) study that was performed cross-sectionally and prospectively in Al-Zahra Hospital in Tabriz, Iran Information was extracted from the medical records and the patient file was analyzed statistically with SPSS software version 26. Results During 5 months of study, 100 patients were evaluated, the most used drugs were meperidine (pethidine) and diclofenac, the average pain relief of patients was 2.48 units, according to this the best combination in reducing pain of patients can be named as combination of 3 drug including meperidine (Pethidine), diclofenac and acetaminophen. Conclusion Prescribed regimens have theoretical compliance of 41.4±27.3% and practically have a compliance of 60.60 ± 28.77%. despite the relative compatibility of mentioned prescribed drugs with APS 2016 and ERAS 2016 guidelines, the main goal, which is to relieve pain in patients with the least side effects, has been achieved. It is possible to increase the level of compliance by holding retraining courses.en_US
