Is it possible to induce anesthesia using lidocaine hydrochloride-soaked gauzees (2%) to treat wound healing without causing anxiety due to fear of injection in adult patients who have referred to the emergency department with limb ligation It hurt Methods: In this study, which is a three-way intervention study in which trauma patients with limb wounds enter the study after obtaining informed consent, the code is defined for patients before the study and then with random EXCELL software. And one cotton will be used for each code. Only the person who coded and numbered the cotton is aware of the content. Distilled water impregnated gauze will be used for the control group and 2% lidocaine impregnated gauze will be used for the intervention group. The doctor who uses the gauzees is unaware of the gauze content and only knows if it is group A gauze or group B gauze and the statistical analyzer will be unaware of the group contents and the patient will be unaware of the medicinal content of the gauzees. The gauze will be placed on the wound for 5 minutes. Pain will be assessed with VAS. Patients with a GCS below 15, or a history of lidocaine allergy, or who are not willing to participate in the study, exclude other parts of the body except the organs and mucous membranes. Results: A total of 180 subjects were included in the study, which was followed by a normal distribution (Pv = 0.079) by Kolmogorov-Semirinov statistical test. The average age of participants (29 / 07-34 / 07: CI95%) is 32.02 ± 13.97 years. The mean age of participants in the case group (28.62-34.52: CI95%) was 31.57 ± 14.08 years and the mean age of participants in the control group (29.55-35.38: CI95%) was 92. / 13 ± 47/32 years. The pain intensity of patients in the case group based on VAS at the time of admission was 7.92± 0.64. The severity of pain in patients after lidocaine-impregnated gauze anesthesia is 7.54 ± 0.91. The severity of pain in patients based on VAS at the time of admission was 7.82± 0.61. The severity of pain in patients after anesthesia with lidocaine-impregnated gauze is 3.51 ± 1.51. Pv≤0.0001) In the case group, 2 patients showed complications and in the control group, 3 patients showed complications that were local and not significant.en_US
