Client Satisfaction towards the Services provided within IraPEN Program in Naghadeh
Introduction: Considering the importance of health service recipients' satisfaction as one of the quality measurement indicators and the importance of IraPEN program that is being implemented in Naghadeh city, it is necessary to evaluate the plan, including measuring the satisfaction of the users. To run. This study was conducted to evaluate the level of satisfaction with the services provided to individuals participating in the IraPEN program in Naghadeh, Iran.
Materials and Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted on the population with 30 years of age and older referring to health centers in Naghadeh city to receive IraPEN services. The data collection tool was a questionnaire of service satisfaction provided for the IraPEN program, which included personal information and factors associated to user's satisfaction. Applying cluster sampling, the information of 561 participants in the study (total sample size = 692 people) was recorded and analyzed.
Results: Our results showed that 67.53% of participants were satisfied with the services provided by rural health workers. Satisfaction of participants in respecting clients, time of service provision, communication, participation in decision-making, and confidentiality of information were 63.3%, 56.2%, 54.1%, 47.4% and 64.4%, respectively. The satisfaction of people with the services provided by physicians, nutritionists, psychologists, laboratory staff and health workers were 47.4%, 39%, 44.2%, 42.6% and 53.7%, respectively.
Conclusion: The results of this study showed that the level of satisfaction of people participating in the IraPEN program was at a moderate level. Our findings may be helpful for the Iranian health system descision-makers while reoreienting the services provided in the IraPEN program.
