Comparison of post-injection pain in trigger finger patients in two methods of local anesthesia in the metacarpal head into the thumb flexor tendon sheet and the first dorsal web

Abstract

The finger is the trigger of the disease due to the narrowing of the tenosynoviums of the fingers, thus causing painful movements of the fingers while bending and straightening the fingers. This is more common in women's society, especially in people in their 6s and 7s. Methods: In the present study, trigger finger patients were anesthetized after being divided into two groups by two methods of injection in the metacarpal head into the tendon sheet and injection in the first web dorsal and the results in time intervals of one, 3 and 6 weeks. After the injection, it was questioned and evaluated for pain.
